It's getting harder to get their stories straight

It’s been about a week since Attorney Geneal Pam Bondi said the Epstein file with the list of clients was sitting on her desk, waiting for her review. But, now she says it never existed – or that the Biden Administration destroyed it. (Now why would they do that?) The Trump Administration likes to claim how transparent it is – but it’s pretty obvious that it is obsessively secretive and just tries to define its secrecy as transparency. These conflicting statements about the Epstein file should be a clear indication of how scurrilous Trump and his Sycophants can’t get their stories straight and are always tripping over themselves. Just today, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claimed she acted quickly to respond to the flood disaster in Texas despite her three-day delay in signing off on Monday before FEMA could supply aid. Trump frequently crosses himself, the latest being his reversals on tariffs, earning him the sobriquet TACO (Trump always chickens out).

So, we can only conjecture about the Epstein file. My guess is that Pam Bondi took a look at the list and realized that many of Trump’s wealthy supporters were on it – and maybe Trump himself. Although they were hoping there were some Democrats and Republican enemies on the list, there were few of those names – and they couldn’t release those names without revealing the other names on the list. So, they had no choice but to destroy the file with the list and hope it never surfaces. So, I’m only guessing. But what the hell. Trump throws out malicious information that has no basis in fact – so why can’t we do the same? Oh yeah. Personal Integrity restrains us.
