When I opened my computer this morning, I had six messages in my email from Donald Trump, soliciting money. If everyone gave just $5.00 today, it would swamp the Harris campaign. Of course, most of the recipients will just delete these solicitations since they come every day and even his supporters have limits on what they can give. I’m just curious to see how many of these emails Trump is resorting to in his desperate effort to get reelected and avoid trials and convictions. If I had purchased a MAGA hat every time he had asked me to buy one, I have a closet stuffed with hats. If I had bought a mug every time he’s asked, I’d have a kitchen counter full of mugs without room to do anything else. If I’d have accepted all of his invitations to visit him at Mar-A-Lago, I’d have spent half my life in the air going to and from Mar-A-Lago and the other half flying with JD Vance on Air Force Two just joyriding. Despite his bluster, Trump knows he’s finished and is doing his best to fleece his followers. Where the money goes is a mystery. Maybe his legal defense team will reap the benefit.
